The Clever Rabbit and the Lion

A fierce lion frightened all the animals in the forest. Every day, he hunted whenever he wanted. The animals were scared and decided to send him one animal each day to stop him from hunting everyone.

One day, it was a tiny rabbit's turn to visit the lion. The rabbit walked very slowly and arrived late. The angry lion demanded to know why he had taken so long. The rabbit calmly said another lion had stopped him.

The rabbit told the lion that the other lion lived inside a deep well. Curious and angry, the lion followed him there. When the lion looked into the water, he saw his own reflection and thought it was another lion.

The lion roared at his reflection, and the reflection seemed to roar back. Furious, he jumped into the well. The rabbit quickly ran away while the other animals celebrated because the forest was finally safe.

Moral: A clever mind can overcome great strength. Thinking calmly can help solve problems that seem impossible.
